This mod expands on block connection logic. Block connection is a feature which makes a block change itself depending on some conditions, like when a wall makes a junction with another wall block when placed next to it.
This mod's content uses separate models, textures, hitboxes, icons and other, so it should not interfere with original blocks and their resources.
Disclaimer: This mod uses existing in-game block connection feature implementation and is limited by it, so do not expect it to cover every build idea.

Where to find new blocks added by this mod?
Right beside regular ones crafted from same/related/corresponding resource on Builder's Workbench (Redwood Log can be used to craft Redwood Beam, while Redwood Plank can be used to craft Redwood Plank Beam as well as Bronze Ingot can be used to craft Bronze Pipes).

🧱 Extendable Fences with Orientation support
Makes properly connected corner / junction segments which are matched with a connected fence blocks orientation.

  Limitations and known issues:
  - I wanted them to be extendable vertically(like gates), but for now, they are named Extendable mostly to separate them from the original ones.
🧱 Extendable Fence Gates
Makes gate blocks extendable. Placing 1x1 fence gates near/above each other will turn them into a 1x2, 2x1 and 2x2 variants.
To make 1x2 - place two 1x1 fences vertically to make 2x1 - place them horizontally and 2x2 is made by one 2x1 and additional 2x1 above it.

  Limitations and known issues:
  - You'll only get double door(gate) version to open both sections if they are the same, so if you try to make 1x2 and 1x1 making 3 block fence, they will not open simultaneously.
🧱 Extendable Walls
Makes wall segment extendable. You can place wall blocks on top of each other to make lower ones turned into a plain/solid variants to make walls connect seamlessly (without an upper part on each and every segment).

  Limitations and known issues:
  - Block connection logic is shared between block types. If you place "Basalt Cobble - Wall" on top of "Calcite Cobble - Wall", lower one will turn itself in to a plain/solid one to connect seamlessly.
🧱 Connectable Branches / Beams / Pipes
Makes branch/beam/pipe blocks connectable to form corners / junction segments.
- 32 types of Rough wood: Amber, Apple, Ash, Jungle, Oak, Palm and other tree-ish variants of wood.
- 11 types of Fine wood: Blackwood, Darkwood, Drywood, Hardwood, Softwood and other plain beam-ish variants of wood. You can make them out of corresponding finewood variant (Blackwood Planks can be used to craft Blackwood Beams).
- 5 types of Metal pipe sets: Bronze, Copper, Gold, Iron, Zinc. Crafted from corresponding metal ingots (Copper ingots can be used to craft Bronze and copper pipes and Thorium ingots to craft Zinc pipes).
- 1 type of Bone rib set. Crafted from Bone blocks.
- All of those can have 4 types of connection variants at most.
  Three thick ones (for most of the blocks): Angled (like a branch), Beam (thick beam), Cut beam (like two half-cut beam overlapping) and Thin variant.
  Some sets may lack specific connection variants, like pipes not having Cut Beam.
- Short/end segments for Thick and Thin beams, plus Chimney one for thick metal pipes.
- Thick and thin share this system and will connect.
  Limitations and known issues:
  - You will not be able to place 2 beams in parallel while them not trying to connect.
  - You will not be able to make 2x2 tight loops/turns on some occasions.
  - Short segments can only by used horizontally, but Chimney can only by used vertically.
  - There is no specific connection between thick and thin beams/pipes.
  - Despite the intention to have horizontal beams to be seated on the vertical ones it's still not the case sometimes.
🧱Additional features
- Extendable Fences and Walls will connect to Extendable Gates.
- After one of connected wall blocks is destroyed fence pieces may stay in the changed L/T/X shape, this is intentional but, unfortunately, does not work in every situation.
- For testing purposes. Building hammer can turn plain/solid variant of Stone cobble - Wall(this exact one) into the regular one(with upper slab), but it works by breaking the "variant" state of the wall. This is the reason I didn't expand on this, but felt like leaving it to testing and messing with.
  It's a solid idea - system makes most of the connection by itself, but you are still allowed to scroll through the variants if you need to, but unfortunateely it doesn't work as of now.

PS: I hope I'll expand on this mod, especially if some additional features are added to the game, which will allow me to expand on this mod or use a different approach altogether.
