Better Flying removes the friction from flying: no stamina cost, no height limit, and a flight speed boost. No gameplay logic beyond flying is touched.

Features

Unlimited flying stamina — no stamina cost for flying horizontally, dashing while flying, hovering, or flying vertically.
No flight height cap — fly as high as you want.
Faster flying — flight speed multiplied (2.5x by default, configurable in the script) for whatever Pal you're currently riding. Ground walking speed is untouched — this only affects flying.

Requirements

UE4SS installed. This is a Lua mod, so UE4SS must already be set up and working before this mod will do anything. If you don't have UE4SS yet, install that first — its own instructions will walk you through it.

Installation

Locate your Palworld installation folder. By default on Steam, this is: <your Steam library>\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ (Right-click Palworld in your Steam library → Manage → Browse Local Files if you're not sure where this is.)
Inside that folder, you should already see a Mods folder (created by UE4SS). Open it: ...\Pal\Binaries\Win64\Mods\
Extract the downloaded zip, then copy the whole BetterFlying folder into that Mods folder, so you end up with: ...\Pal\Binaries\Win64\Mods\BetterFlying\Scripts\main.lua ...\Pal\Binaries\Win64\Mods\BetterFlying\enabled.txt
In that same Mods folder, open mods.txt in a text editor (Notepad works fine).
Add this line anywhere in the file (or change it if it's already there from a previous install): BetterFlying : 1
Save mods.txt and close it.
Restart Palworld (or restart your dedicated server, if that's where you installed it).

If everything's set up correctly, you should see mentions of "BetterFlying" scroll by in the UE4SS console window when the game starts.

Dedicated Server — important, please read

This mod behaves differently for its two features when only installed on your own client (not the server):

Stamina removal works client-side only. If you connect to a dedicated server that doesn't have this mod installed, you'll still have unlimited flying stamina — stamina cost is calculated locally on your own client.
Speed boost requires the server to have it too. Actual flight speed is authoritative on the server side, so if only your client has this mod, your flying speed will not change when connected to a server that doesn't also have it installed. For everyone (or even just yourself) to actually fly faster on a dedicated server, the server itself needs BetterFlying installed.

If you're playing solo or hosting your own game, this distinction doesn't matter — both features work immediately either way.

Notes

Speed multiplier is adjustable in the mod's script (FLY_SPEED_MULTIPLIER), default 2.5x.
Do not set the multiplier extremely high — testing found that an extreme value (20x) crashes the game, most likely because the movement/physics simulation isn't built to handle speeds that far outside normal range. Stick to a reasonable multiplier.
Safe to add to or remove from an existing save.

Better Flying (Faster Flight & Unlimited Stamina)
