This is a compilation of all my old and new improvements to maps and maps-related widgets. "Better Map" part changes minimap and journal map widgets, Better Map Icons changes icons and "Clear Map" part deals with how map itself looks like.

Better Map (Minimap and Journal Map Widgets)
3 main versions available (plus auto-hide alternatives in Optional Files):

With scale of whole widget changed (70%, 85%, 100%).
With draggable minimap (KB/M only).
For every scale version auto-hide available subversion available (minimap normally hidden, when mouse if over it instantly show up, once mouse is away it stay for 3 seconds, then disappear).
Icons for party members, allies, neutrals and enemies reworked based on in-game markers asset that Larian most likely planned to use ( but for some reason have stopped on boring colored circles). New markers are more in line with other markers in game. Most important its easier to figure out direction where party characters look now.

Zoom range improved and zoom scale step reduced a bit - that will make zoom slightly smoother now.
Minimap text (location and coords) adjusted to be clearly visible on all the scales.
Journal Map's Legend panel is hidden by default now and will pop only if you move mouse to the left edge of the screen.
Journal Map's Waypoints list is more compact now and navigation made more similar to context menu now (arrow for highlighted item and items organized in a tree Region/Subregions).

Clear Map (Textures/Shaders)
3 versions available:

With just D&D 5-ft grid removed.
With both grid and shroud (which covers unexplored areas of the region) removed.
With grid removed and shroud transparency added (unexplored areas will be grey and somewhat visible, but clearly distinguishable from explored ones).

Better Map Icons
Replaces character, party members and NPC markers on the map.

This part (icons) of the mod can't be made official right now.

Installation:
Manually drop pak files from archive to Mods folder (Appdata\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods) and enable it in in-game mod manager. Or use BG3MM/Vortex.

Install one version of Better Map and/or one version of Clear Map and/or Better Map Icons.

If you are using in-game MM only, keep mod disabled, MM forcefully disables it anyway. It will work disabled.

Uninstallation:
Disable/uninstall mods in in-game mod manager or in BG3MM/Vortex. Don't delete paks manually in Mods folder.
When uninstalling version installed via in-game mod manager from mod.io, unsubscribe on mod.io, otherwise in-game mod manager will try to install it on background again.

Compatibility:
KB/M and controllers UI compatible. Made to look great on any aspect ratio.
Should be compatible with any other mod that doesn't edit the same widgets.
