Final Fantasy XV Audio Fixes
Collection of mods that aim to fix audio issues still present in the current version of the game
7/14/2025 - Two new audio fixes added.
Current mods in the collection:
1) Audio Fix: Ardyn Train Sound Effects
Fixes a scene that had its sound effects broken during one of the console updates and was never fixed on Windows Edition.

2) Audio Fix: Luna's Theme (Leviathan)
Fixes the broken soundtrack file that was supposed to play during Luna's confrontation with Leviathan.

The music file is a rendition of Luna's Theme made specifically for this scene. The music file is named with that cutscene’s script name. Everything was hooked up correctly in the game's code and was still trying to the music, but the audio file wasn't properly made, causing it to not play during the scene.
3) Audio Fix: Fishing Fanfare
Fixes the broken classic FF4 fanfare that was supposed to play after catching a fish. The song was left fully hooked up, just with a bug that prevented it playing, this mod fixes that bug allowing it to correctly trigger.

4) Audio Fix: Weaverwilds Sandstorm
Fixes the sandstorm audio that fails to play when in Leide's Weaverwilds during cloudy weather. The sandstorm had its own unique sound file that was left hooked up in the script, however was never implemented correctly and never worked as a result.
5) Ardyn's Crystal Scene Audio Balance
Balances dialogue, music, and sound effects during Ardyn's crystal scene to prioritize his speech.
Adjusts audio levels to ensure Ardyn's speech at the end of Chapter 13 is clear and prominent, using precise tweaks to the sound files for a more immersive experience. This adjustment is extended to work for all audio language options.
Specifics:
- Reduces Noctis's grunting volume by 50%
- Increases Ardyn's dialogue volume to its maximum level
- Lowers Ardyn's theme music volume by 70%
I've manually edited 115 sound files, 23 for each of the 5 voiced languages. I've only really seen this scene in English and Japanese, and the mixing here is bad enough that it became a meme.
6) Audio Fix: Dropship Wind Noise & VFX
Fixes the broken sound effect to all Nifl dropship encounters, adds back the broken wind vfx and re-enables the front spotlights. Included in Expanded Area VFX
