Description:

Projekt AKARI (formerly known as Projekt RTX-H):
This game has too many light sources that can't cast shadows. Now they shall!
The goal is to address all light sources where it's deemed necessary while not sacrificing too much performance.

This mod pack is separated into independent parts for performance/customization purposes: Main and Modules. Enabling each of them unlocks the true potential of this mod!

Main:
• light sources that are spread all over the place in this game
• places with only a few light sources
Modules:
• light sources or places where high performance decreases are expected get put into separate modules

Note: As this takes a lot of time this project can be considered wip as long as not stated otherwise.

Performance:
The images/gallery shows the difference. The GPU load [%] at the top should help you with what to expect.
(I play at 30FPS locked.)

Compatibility:
• Lucis Night View (LNV):
A patch file is available. The mods are now compatible and you can enjoy both together.

Installation:
1. Flagrum (LINK): delete any old versions of AKARI.
2. Download Full Mod
3. Open Full Mod "*.fmod" with Flagrum (How To) and choose every single option for the full experience.
4. (Optionals & Rollbacks)
4.1 Optionals:
Install if you need:
• Lucis Night View (LINK) Compatibility
• better performance for places like Lestallum Market
(You/Flagrum just disable conflicting Full Mod modules and use these instead. I keep maintaining them fully.)
4.2 Rollbacks:
Install if you want:
• lights aesthetics from previous versions
(You will need to do some edits yourself. Don't worry, you can do it!)

Bugs/issues:
• Sometimes the lights still don't cast shadow or are buggy. In that case try the two methods below (see videos):
