Description
Cozy Tales: Pacifism
Turn Hytale’s hostile creatures into peaceful farm animals. Tame them with crops, feed them for loot, and build a cozy mob farm without the fighting.
What this mod does
Most hostile mobs in the world become passive. They wander, follow food you’re holding, and can be tamed like livestock. Once tamed, you can feed them by hand to receive their normal drops — bones, hides, crystals, and everything else they used to only give you in combat.
Pacified mobs are also about half their usual size, so they feel more like barnyard animals than boss fights.
How to play
1. Find a pacified mob
Former hostiles — undead, predators, goblins, trorks, golems, void creatures, and many more — no longer attack on sight.
2. Tame with the right crop
Each mob prefers a specific crop (shown as a thought bubble above its head). Hold that crop and interact to tame it. Tougher mobs generally want higher-tier crops.
3. Feed for loot
After taming, hold their preferred crop again and feed them. They’ll eat, make a little munch sound, and drop loot at their feet. You can feed them again after a short cooldown.
4. Optional: capture crate
Use the Cozy Pacifism Capture Crate to pick up a tamed mob and carry it home. Place the crate on a block to release them — appearance, name, and feed timers are preserved.
What’s covered
This mod applies to a wide range of hostile NPCs across the world, including:
- Undead (skeletons, zombies, and variants)
- Beasts and predators
- Intelligent hostiles (goblins, trorks, outlanders, and similar)
- Void and swimming aggressors
- Elemental golems
If it used to hunt you, there’s a good chance it can now join your farm instead.
A calmer way to collect drops
Cozy Tales: Pacifism is for players who want resources from dangerous mobs without constant combat — build pens, breed your favorites, and let crops do the work.
