Convenient, Thematic Storage, now with Wardrobes

Maintain your home's aesthetic without compromising utility. Over 20 new chests have been added using vanilla blocks tweaked to use custom open and close animations. This mod also adds two entirely new blocks - the Wall Safe and the Floor Safe. Both safes have double variants called Vaults and have the unique ability to be hidden and made uninteractable by certain thin blocks like paintings or moss rugs. All of these Immersive Storage items can be found in the Storage category of the Furniture Workbench and each have appropriate recipes and required memory levels.

New Feature: Carryable Chests

The days of breaking chests and shuffling your storage around are over. All of the chests added by this mod now have the CarryBlock interaction added quietly in update 6. To carry a chest simply crouch and activate the chest then it will pop into your hands (currently there is no contextual interaction hint, it will still say "press to open"). The items stored inside are safe and even if you die while carrying it a ghost block remains behind to claim the chest. This functionality has been expanded to all of the accessible vanilla chests via Patchly. Without Patchly only the chests added by this mod will be able to be carried.

Dimensional Fabric & Chests of Holding

If you still find yourself strapped for storage space, simply make more space with Dimensional Fabric. This is a new resource added to the droptables for the various magically inclined enemies throughout Orbis - and can be found in the various crates, barrels, and coffins of old ruins. Take one of your new chests (or even any of the currently-craftable vanilla chests) and a bolt or two of Dimensional Fabric to the new Chests of Holding category in the Arcanist's Workbench and you can convert it into a Chest of Holding variant that doubles its storage capacity. The Chest of Holding variants of the vanilla chests and both Safes retain the ability to combine into their larger versions that have expanded storage. Due to UI spacing issues large storage containers have only 63 storage slots to keep all items and buttons visible.

The changes to the droptables and Arcane Bench are accomplished using Patchly to avoid overwriting base game assets. Without Patchly Dimensional Fabric will not be added to any droptables and the Chests of Holding category will not appear in the Arcanist's Workbench. The regular storage items added by Immersive Storage will still show up in the Storage section of the Furniture Workbench.

Bags of Holding

While hunting or scavenging for Dimensional Fabric you may rarely come across a Damaged Bag of Holding. An unassuming relic from a more prosperous time, even in its degraded state it offers 36 storage slots in just one block. If you take it to the Arcanist's Workbench you can restore it with 4 bolts of Dimensional Fabric, granting it a whopping 63 slots of storage.

Or, if you are untrustworthy of the old magicks, you can salvage the damaged bag for 2 bolts of Dimensional Fabric.

Wall & Floor Safes

Wall and Floor Safes can be made at the Storage Category of the Furniture Workbench with 4 iron bars once you reach the second tier of memories in the Forgotten Temple. They have special behaviors with certain thin, vanilla blocks that work via Patchly to avoid overwriting base game assets. The small paintings, cloth flaps and vertical cloths will hide the Wall Safe and Wall Vault's door and remove the interaction to open it - even from other angles. Only once that block is broken will the safe be able to open. The safe's contents remain even when uninteractable and will drop if the safe is broken in any state. Flat cloth roofs and moss rugs have the same hiding effect on Floor Safes and Vaults. Like the other storage items in this mod, Safes and Vaults have Chest of Holding variants with increased storage.

Without Patchly the safes and vaults will have no special interactions but safes will still stack into vaults.
