All rights reserved.

## 1. Scope

This license applies to the KweebecJS project and all source code, binaries,
assets, documentation, and other materials distributed with it
(collectively, the "Software").

## 2. Limited Permission to Inspect

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license
to access and inspect the Software's source code solely for personal review,
learning, security research, evaluation, and compatibility analysis.

This inspection permission allows you to:

- download or receive a copy of the source code for inspection;
- open, read, search, and locally execute tools against the source code;
- make private local modifications for personal evaluation only.

## 3. Prohibited Uses

Except as expressly allowed by Section 2 or by a valid License Exemption under
Section 4, you may not, in whole or in part:

- distribute, publish, sublicense, sell, lease, lend, share, or otherwise make
the Software available to any third party;
- distribute compiled builds, source code, modified versions, derivative works,
patches, or forks;
- upload the Software to any public or private repository, package registry,
file host, marketplace, or similar service accessible by any other person;
- redistribute the Software as part of another project, product, mod, or
service;
- remove or alter copyright, ownership, or license notices.

For clarity, distribution is prohibited in every form, including distribution
of modified versions, unless the recipient is expressly listed in
EXEMPTIONS.md under a valid License Exemption.

## 4. License Exemption

The copyright holder may grant specific users or organizations a written
exemption from the distribution restrictions in Section 3. A License Exemption
is valid only if:

- the exempted person or organization is listed in EXEMPTIONS.md;
- each exemption entry includes the legal name or username of the person or
organization;
- each exemption entry includes a public email address, if applicable;
- the exemption is granted in writing by the copyright holder; and
- the scope of the exemption clearly states what distribution, if any, is
allowed.

Any person or organization not explicitly listed in EXEMPTIONS.md
under a valid written License Exemption remains fully subject to Section 3.

## 5. Ownership

No ownership rights are transferred under this license. All rights not
expressly granted are reserved by the copyright holder.

## 6. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate any term of it. Upon
termination, you must stop using the Software and destroy all copies in your
possession or control, except to the extent retention is required by law.

## 7. Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

## 8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT,
OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE
USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
