Description
🜏 VOIDARMOR
Forbidden Protection, Questionable Engineering, and Equipment That Remembers
VoidArmor is a complete armor, shield, and weapon expansion developed by the G.N.O.M.E. Institute — the Grand Network of Mystical Engineers.
The project began with a simple question:
“Can reinforced armor survive direct exposure to concentrated void energy?”
The armor survived.
The containment chamber survived.
Enough researchers survived to continue development.
VoidArmor introduces five complete armor tiers, four Void shield tiers, five craftable weapons, full-set combat bonuses, hostile aura damage, reactive Void Corruption, dynamic HUD indicators, configurable behavior, crafting and salvage systems, and complete optional in-game documentation.
The equipment is functional.
The corruption is contained.
The definition of “contained” remains under legal review.
🛡️ Five Complete Void Armor Tiers
VoidArmor includes complete four-piece armor sets for:
- Copper
- Iron
- Thorium
- Adamantite
- Mithril
Each tier provides greater protection, stronger void interaction, and a progressively reduced need for conventional survival instincts.
A complete armor set consists of matching:
- Head armor
- Chest armor
- Hand armor
- Leg armor
All four pieces must belong to the same tier to activate the full-set bonus.
Mixing armor tiers is permitted.
It is not rewarded.
The armor knows when you are improvising.
🜏 Full-Set Combat Bonuses
Equipping all four pieces from the same armor tier activates its void-bound combat systems.
Each complete set provides:
- Hostile-only aura damage
- Reactive Void Corruption
- A visible thorn-shield HUD indicator
- A Roman numeral identifying the active armor tier
| Armor Tier | HUD Indicator |
|---|---|
| Copper | I |
| Iron | II |
| Thorium | III |
| Adamantite | IV |
| Mithril | V |
The HUD indicator updates automatically when armor tiers are changed and disappears when the complete set is removed.
Should the symbol remain visible after removing the armor:
- Confirm that all four pieces were removed.
- Confirm that the symbol is still attached to the HUD.
- Confirm that it is not floating behind you.
- Do not turn around.
Containment personnel have already been notified.
💥 Hostile Aura Damage
Complete armor sets periodically damage nearby hostile targets.
The wearer is not required to attack.
The armor has reviewed the situation and determined that hesitation is inefficient.
| Armor Tier | Aura Damage per Second |
|---|---|
| Copper | 2 |
| Iron | 4 |
| Thorium | 6 |
| Adamantite | 8 |
| Mithril | 12 |
The targeting system protects:
- Players
- Friendly and neutral NPCs
- Passive creatures
- Pets and companions
- Merchants
- Targets whose attitude cannot be safely confirmed
When hostility cannot be determined, the armor does nothing.
This safeguard was introduced after an early prototype detected “aggressive pricing” from a merchant and responded accordingly.
The merchant survived.
The market district did not.
☠️ Reactive Void Corruption
When the wearer is attacked, the hostile attacker receives tier-based Void Corruption.
Void Corruption inflicts continuous damage and serves as the armor’s official response to unauthorized physical contact.
| Armor Tier | Void Corruption Damage per Second |
|---|---|
| Copper | 5 |
| Iron | 9 |
| Thorium | 16 |
| Adamantite | 28 |
| Mithril | 50 |
Repeated applications refresh the existing corruption effect instead of stacking additional copies.
This prevents uncontrolled effect accumulation, dimensional overlap, and the accidental creation of multiple versions of the same attacker.
The duplicate recovered during testing was not retained.
It knew things the original had not confessed yet.
🛡️ Four Void Shield Tiers
VoidArmor includes four specialized Void shields:
- Copper Void Shield
- Iron Void Shield
- Thorium Void Shield
- Adamantite Void Shield
Each shield is designed to complement its matching armor tier while surviving impacts that ordinary equipment would classify as “someone else’s emergency.”
Void shields provide increasingly powerful protection alongside several expected characteristics:
- Reinforced impact resistance
- Void-infused defensive behavior
- Unusual reactions to nearby threats
- Faint humming during normal operation
- Louder humming immediately before abnormal operation
There is currently no Mithril Void Shield.
Engineering claims this is intentional.
Containment claims Engineering has stopped answering the door.
⚔️ Five Craftable Void Weapons
VoidArmor includes five craftable weapons produced through advanced metallurgy, concentrated void exposure, forbidden magic, and an institutional refusal to stop after the first successful accident.
The current craftable weapons are:
- Void-Infused Mithril Sword
- Mithril Longsword of the Void
- Void-Infused Mithril Shortbow
- Void-Conjoined Mithril Daggers
- Holy Void Hammer of Radiance
Every weapon can be crafted through its intended process.
This does not mean every required component can be crafted.
G.N.O.M.E. regrets that this distinction was not made sooner.
The announcement team was excited.
The forge team was surrounded by angry customers.
🗡️ Void-Infused Mithril Sword
The Void-Infused Mithril Sword was the first successful example of weapon-grade void integration.
The original experiment involved:
- One standard Mithril sword
- Unauthorized void exposure
- A containment chamber with an expired inspection seal
- A research note labeled:
“DO NOT APPLY TO EDGED WEAPONS.”
Mithril was expected to fracture, unravel, or cease to exist.
It did not.
The blade absorbed and stabilized the void energy, gaining enhanced lethality, exceptional resonance, and a faint hum repeatedly classified as “not a warning.”
The sword became the foundation of the entire Void weapon program.
It has not requested recognition.
It appears to expect obedience instead.
⚔️ Mithril Longsword of the Void
Using the same techniques developed for the original sword, G.N.O.M.E. attempted to create something larger, stronger, and less likely to become emotionally attached to prolonged combat.
The result was the Mithril Longsword of the Void.
Observed characteristics include:
- Exceptional reach
- Severe void resonance
- Devastating damage potential
- An edge capable of separating armor, flesh, and confidence
- A concerning interest in prolonged combat
No one was injured during the final infusion.
One employee from the Liability Department cried anyway.
The longsword is classified as Legendary, operationally stable, and inappropriate for disagreements that could have been resolved verbally.
Most disagreements can no longer be resolved verbally after deployment.
🏹 Void-Infused Mithril Shortbow
The Void-Infused Mithril Shortbow was created through a regulated infusion procedure meeting the minimum accepted definition of “controlled.”
The bow accepted the void immediately.
No hesitation was observed.
This remains the most disturbing part of the report.
Observed properties include:
- Increased draw strength
- Reduced perceived weight
- Bowstring tension without an arrow present
- Silent movement during use
- The sensation that the weapon is evaluating its wielder
The bow does not whisper.
The bow does not judge.
The bow has not rejected anyone.
These statements were approved before the evaluation team disappeared.
Use remains authorized.
Avoid holding the bow in complete silence.
It prefers that.
🗡️ Void-Conjoined Mithril Daggers
The Void-Conjoined Mithril Daggers were originally intended to remain two separate Mithril blades.
During processing, Rusty the Intern entered the fabrication area and attempted to demonstrate what he described as:
“Zero-gravity alien combat maneuvers.”
Rusty rotated approximately 270 degrees, shouted:
“Heghlu’meH QaQ jajvam!”
He then dropped both daggers directly into a boiling vat of void essence.
The blades did not dissolve.
They did not remain separate.
They fused.
Recovery and separation attempts resulted in:
- Active resistance from the blades
- Several revised safety procedures
- One damaged extraction assembly
- Three missing fingers
- Rusty declaring the incident “still canon”
The daggers remain conjoined, synchronized, void-corrupted, and unwilling to negotiate.
Disposal failed.
Separation failed harder.
Rusty has been transferred to duties involving paperwork, distance, and no liquids that glow.
🔨 Holy Void Hammer of Radiance
The Holy Void Hammer of Radiance was created after a G.N.O.M.E. engineer proposed combining holy energy with concentrated void corruption.
The official theory claimed the opposing forces would neutralize one another.
They did not.
They became cooperative.
The hammer now channels radiant energy through a void-bound core, producing impacts capable of crushing armor, burning corruption, and briefly persuading nearby shadows to leave.
Observed properties include:
- Devastating blunt-force damage
- Radiant energy discharge
- Stable void resonance
- Sudden illumination before structural failure
- A ringing sound occasionally heard before the hammer is swung
- Use as an unnecessarily dangerous portable light source
The hammer is both holy and void-infused.
The Theology Department reviewed the weapon.
The Theology Department no longer exists as an organized department.
Deployment is approved.
Do not permit the hammer to independently determine what requires purification.
🔒 Rare Forging Components
Some advanced Void weapons require rare components that cannot be crafted.
These components:
- Cannot be replicated
- Cannot be substituted
- Cannot be approximated
- Cannot be produced by throwing unrelated valuables into the forge
- Must be recovered from the brutalest of bandits
Not ordinary bandits.
Not experienced bandits.
Not bandits described by witnesses as “fairly unpleasant.”
The brutalest ones.
If the encounter does not cause you to reconsider your equipment, strategy, and previous life decisions, you have probably located the wrong bandit.
The required component must then be brought to G.N.O.M.E. before the related weapon can be forged.
G.N.O.M.E. previously forgot to mention this.
The documentation team has been corrected.
The correction involved a chair.
♻️ Crafting and Salvage
VoidArmor includes extensive crafting and salvage support for its equipment.
The system includes:
- Armor crafting recipes
- Shield crafting recipes
- Weapon crafting recipes
- Normal salvage recipes
- Overclocked salvage recipes
- Exact documented material returns
- Rare enemy-dropped forging components
- 32 documented normal and overclocked salvage definitions
No salvage balance was changed while producing the documentation.
The outputs remain correct.
The quantities remain consistent.
Recovered materials may occasionally be warm.
Do not ask what they remember.
One Copper shield returned from salvage with impact damage on the inside.
The blacksmith responsible had been dead for six days.
The incident was classified as a cosmetic defect.
⚙️ Configurable Armor Bonuses
Full-set behavior can be adjusted through VoidArmor’s save-local configuration file:
<Hytale UserData>/Saves/<save>/mods/Aipoc'sHouse_VoidArmor/config.json
This allows server owners to adjust armor behavior without directly modifying the mod.
Configuration is considered safe when performed carefully.
Unauthorized values can also be entered.
The distinction becomes important afterward.
Do not:
- Enter negative durations
- Replace damage values with words
- Add undocumented armor tiers
- Create a setting named
awake
The armor already has one.
It is hidden.
📖 Complete In-Game Voile Guide
VoidArmor includes an optional in-game Voile documentation guide covering:
- Getting started
- All five armor sets
- Full-set bonuses
- All five craftable weapons
- Armor recipes
- Shield information
- Salvage recipes
- HUD behavior
- Safe targeting
- Configuration
- Installation
- Server information
Open the guide with:
/voile --topic=AipocsHouse:VoidArmor:start-here
Voile is optional.
VoidArmor continues loading normally without it.
The guide merely explains which behaviors are intentional, which behaviors are harmless, and which behaviors should not be acknowledged aloud.
Restricted server documentation requires:
aipocshouse.voidarmor.server-docs
Operator access is required because the restricted pages contain:
- Advanced configuration details
- Containment procedures
- Failed removal instructions
- Internal development records
- The final transcript from Testing Chamber Four
The transcript ends with:
“The armor is empty. Why is it breathing?”
Testing Chamber Four remains locked.
There is no Testing Chamber Five.
Ignore any signs directing you there.
⚠️ Known Risks and Side Effects
Documented side effects may include:
- Purple sparks
- Void seepage
- Persistent shadow stains
- Temporary dizziness
- Reality disagreements
- Unrequested tactical advice
- Short-term memory loss
- Reflections moving before the wearer
- Familiar voices originating from sealed helmets
- Additional limbs
- Missing limbs
- Equipment recognizing operators it has never encountered
- Sudden awareness of a door that was not previously present
These effects are uncommon.
Several have been classified as impossible.
They continue occurring without authorization.
Armor may whisper encouragement, threats, tactical advice, or personal information.
Do not respond.
Do not acknowledge accurate statements.
Do not allow the helmet to finish a sentence beginning with your full name.
