BEFORE YOU READ OR COMMENT

yes, i know Minecraft Dungeons 2 is out. And yes, i will add stuff from it in due time. But i spent two months making this update, so let me take a bit of a break before working on the next one, kay?

Alylica's Dungeons takes Items, Monsters and more from Minecraft Dungeons and adds it into the game in a Vanilla+ way, aiming to blend the two games into one!

Alylica's Dungeons adds a load of new Monsters, Bosses and Items to the game, so if you like those things, this is the addon for you! Below will be more details on the contents of the addon

The newest version includes 26 new Ancient Hunts! full scale dungeon crawler levels that you can play through, inspired by Minecraft Dungeons

Alylica's Dungeons adds in over 40 new monsters, including 5 new minibosses, 26 powerful "ancient bosses" and 14 new bosses, all with exciting and action packed fights and rewarding loot!

From variants of standard mobs such as Armored Pillagers and Frozen Zombies to brand new foes like Wraiths, Leapleaves and Enderlings that all populate different parts of your world

Every mob has been carefully developed to create an enjoyable experience fighting them while keeping them unique from the vanilla game, such as how Wraiths can light you on fire from a distance, and how Vanguards are capable of using shields in combat

Monsters will spawn throughout your world in different locations, thus helping them fit in with the already wide array of monsters in Minecraft, and making each area of the world a little unique!

Additionally, most monsters have a chance to spawn as Enchanted mobs, with boosted stats and a special quirk to them, aswell as a bossbar atop the screen

Most monsters from Minecraft Dungeons have already been implemented, and most ones that arent yet will be added in future versions!

There are 5 brand new minibosses in the addon, additionally, certain vanilla mobs such as Evokers have been updated to miniboss status, with boosted stats and new healthbars

Minibosses will all spawn in a different area of your world, and are characterised by having health bars on the screen, lots of health and powerful and unique attacks

There is the powerful Redstone Golem, capable of dealing huge damagin and creating explosive mines

The Wildfire who protects itself with powerful shields and shoots fireballs

The Endersent which can teleport around and deal large damage

The Drowned Necromancer, capable of pushing you away and summoning Undead

The Illusioner, who will blind you and unleash a horde of clones

Each of these mobs are very frightening but will come with powerful rewards and lots of exp if you can defeat them! Additionally, each fight is a fun and engagin challenge for one reason or another.

There are 13 main bosses in the addon, as well as 6 enchanted versions of the endersent which work as bosses too, each boss has its own unique structure that it dwells within, and after the exhillerating fight, you can claim the rewards!

I will go in detail on each boss and where they are found below

Redstone Monstrosity

The Redstone Monstrosity is possibly the most iconic boss in Minecraft Dungeons! It is found within a fiery forge, buried deep underground within the overworld; once you wake it up it will begin to attack you by smashing you with its heavy arms or hurling hot magma around itself, it can also summon miniature redstone cubes to distract you

The Fiery forge spawns very deep underground, but if you find a small pillager camp, there is a high chance of a forge being underneath it!

When you defeat the Redstone Monstrosity, it drops a key which can be used to unlock the forge's Diamond Chest

Attacks

Melee - The Redstone Monstrosity slams its arms against the ground, dealing large damage and knockback if your are in its way

Projectile Blast - The Redstone Monstrosity spits out a barrage of explosive projectiles

Lava Cracks - The Redstone Monstrosity causes lava eruptions across the arena that explode and deal high damage.

Redstone Cubes - After its Lava Eruptions, a few redstone cubes will spawn, which will pursue and attack you!

The Nameless One

The Nameless One is an eternally powerful sourcerer of an ancient kingdom, is found within an elaborate temple, this can be found admist the sands of the deserts, you will have to explore the ruins and find passage to the underground tomb to begin the fight.

The nameless one has three main methods of attacking, It can shoot a dangerous orb of energy from its staff, and can also summon in skeleton vanguards, equipped with glaives and shields, to fight you. Its most impressive attack is where it disappears and summons false clones of itself to swarm you

When you defeat the Nameless One, it drops a key which can be used to unlock the ruin's Diamond Chest

Attacks

Spell - The Nameless One will frequently shoot you with magic beams from its Staff, if they hit you they will deal lots of damage!

Vanguard Army - The Nameless one can rise into the air and unlesh magic from its staff, summoning 4 skeleton vanguards into the arena

False Kings - The Nameless one charges up energy into its staff, summoning a ring of clones into the arena to attack you before teleporting away

Mooshroom Monstrosity

??? This boss is certianly interesting, isnt it? The Mooshroom Monstrosity is extremely powerful despite its broken down appearence, it is found among mushroom island ruins, and is stronger than its redstone variant in every way

The Mooshroom Monstrosity will attack you with powerful melee attacks and its mooshroom minions, if you try to flee, it will attack with a barrage of explosive rockets! It has a lot of health and hits like a truck, so make sure to have excellent gear before challenging it!

When defeated, the Questionable Key can be used to unlock the Rewards within the Diamond Chest within the ruins

Attacks

Melee - The Mooshroom Monstrosity slams its arms against the ground, dealing large damage and knockback if your are in its way, even stronger than the Redstone Monstrosity!

Magic Spores - The Mooshroom Monstrosity plants its fists onto the ground and charges up, summoning Angry Mooshrooms that will try to attack you

Mushroom Rockets - If you get further away from it, the Mooshroom Monstrosity will start to fire a series of rocket projectiles at you, dealing large damage on impact

Wretched Wraith

The Wretched Wraith is one of the more dynamic fights in the addon. This icy undead foe can be found at the very top of a Lone Fortress among the snow.

The Wraith will attack you by shooting flames and summoning Monsters, it can even teleport to disorientate you, it's important to avoid its powerful flame magic, as it deals extremely high damage. It can even go invulnerable for extended periods of time to swarm you with flames from afar! The entire floor is also frozen over, which may make it harder to dodge its attacks

When you defeat this mob, you can claim the Wretched Key to unlock the Diamond Chest in the castle throne room.

Attacks

Fire Projectile - The Wretched Wraith will throw wretched flames at you from afar

Icy Impulse - When the Wretched Wraith is too close, it will push nearby players away and inflict slowness

Fire Spread - The Wretched Wraith can ignite magical flames nearby you to create obstacles in the arena

Bullet Barrage - The Wretched Wraith becomes invulnerable and fires a surge of projectiles towards you for a short period

Corrupted Cauldron

The Corrupted Cauldron isnt too strong on its own, but can become extremely powerful if you let it get out of hand! It is found dormant within a corrupted witches coven inside of swamp biomes, approach it to begin the fight!

The Corrupted Cauldron will attack you by summoning in magical slimes and mossy zombies, it will also burn you if you get too close! Be weary, as the corrupted cauldron can restore its own health with its magical powers, you will have to attack it frequently to disrupt this process, as if you attack it while its preparing to heal, it will be interrupted!

Once you take out the cauldron, you can use its key to open the coven's Diamond Chest

Attacks

Summon Zombies - The Corrupted Cauldron will swirl its ladle and summon mossy zombies into the arena to fight you. When killed these zombies are absorbed into the cauldrons ooze to heal it

Corrupted Ooze - The Cauldron can spit out small pink slimes known as Corrupted Ooze, these pink slimes attack faster than their green cousins

Fire Wave - If you get close, the cauldron can temporarily emit a dangerous purple fire that will hurt you

Healing Spell - Occasionally the cauldron will start spinning its ladle and making a noise, if it is not damaged in this time, it will then heal itself quite a bit, so make sure to attack it frequently!

Jungle Abomination

The Jungle abomination is a super powerful foe that is found within the Overgrown Temple inside of jungles, with a hugely powerful melee attack and the ability to summon deadly vines to surround you, its main weakness is how slow it is!

The Jungle Abomination possesses immense attack power and health, and its ability to manipulate the plant life around it lets it strike you from a distance and create obstacles on the arena

Once you slay the abomination, you can use the key it drops to unlock the Overgrown Temple's Diamond Chest

Attacks

Melee - The Jungle Abomination has a powerful melee swing that deals lots of knockback to anyone caught in its range

Vine Attacks - The Jungle Abomination can summon vines in the arena in many different configurations, these vines will hurt to the touch, but can be destroyed

Jungle Darts - The Jungle Abomination can fire a spread of poison darts to attack you from far away

Jungle Roar - When injured below half health, the Abomination lets out a roar, knocking you away, this also permenantly boosts its speed and attack damage

Tempest Golem

The tempest golem is unique among bosses in the sense that it cannot move and cannot be damaged for most of the fight! The Tempest Golem is found atop a great mountain Sanctum, you must approach the sleeping golem and awaken it to start the fight

The Tempest Golem has two massive swords that it will use to attack you, along side its magical lightning powers, it is guarded by two shields making it immune to damage, you have to disable this by depleting the energy of two totems on each side of the arena before you can defeat the golem

Once defeated, you can use its key to unlock the Sanctum's Diamond Chest

Attacks

Melee - The Tempest Golem has two massive blades on its arms, it will attack you with them if you get close dealing lots of damage

Tempest Thunder - Periodically, you may hear a loud bell sound and see a blue marker on the ground, this is the Tempest Thunder attack being prepared, after a few seconds lighting and a large explosion will strike on the highlighted area, dealing huge damage

Shields - Untill the wind totems either side of the arena are disabled, attempting to attack the Tempest Golem deals no damage and will cause it to swat you away

Squall Golems - If its shields were disabled, when the Tempest Golem regains power, it will awaken two of the Squall Golems inside the arena to fight you

Ancient Guardian

The Ancient Guardian is a special fight, as it dwells completely underwater! You can find an Abyssal Monument in deep ocean biomes, where you can then swim down and uncover this boss

The Guardian will attack you with is deadly eye laser, it will also charge into you and even summon poisonous explosive mines, you will have to avoid its attacks and keep yourself from drowning to succeed

Defeating this boss drops the Ancient Key, this can be used to access the chest within the monument.

Attacks

Ancient Beam - The Ancient Guardian has a powerful laser attack that deals extreme damage, so its best to avoid it by getting behind cover or using a shield

Ocean Slam - After using its ancient beam, the Guardian will rush towards you in attempt to crash into you and deal damage

Sea Minions - The Ancient Guardian will occasionally spawn guardians throughout the fight

Biomines - The Ancient Guardian can summon biomines around you, these will home in on you and explode into poison smoke if you get too close. You can shoot them with arrows to detonate them from a safe distance

Hovering Inferno

The Hovering Inferno isnt actually in Minecraft Dungeons, well, sort of.. In that game there is a stronger version of the wildfire that works as a boss for the Nether Fortress, so i bascially did that just with a tweaked design. The Hovering Inferno is a much stronger variant of the standard Wildfire and is found residing in the Nether Arena around the nether lava sea

The Hovering Inferno is protected with shields just like the normal wildfire, but both its shields and attacks are much stronger, it can even summon in blazes!

Defeating this boss drops the Blaze Key, used to access the chest atop the arena

Attacks

Fireball Flurry - The Hovering Inferno can quickly shoot a burst of 3 fireballs at you, dealing large damage on contact

Shockwave - If you get close, the Hovering Inferno will slam into the ground dealing high damage and knockback

Blaze Minions - After performing its shockwave attack, the Hovering Inferno summons in a few blazes to help it fight

Enchanted Endersent

This isnt one boss, its six! Each Enchanted Endersent wields one of six Enchanted Eyes, indicated by its name, there are Spiked, Savage, Blight, Binding, Reaping and Ravenous Eyes, each one gives the Endersent a different set of powers

They dwell inside of Enchanted Lairs underground, in nearly any biome, though depending on the biome you may find a different eye. You can also purchase a map to these structures from the Wandering Trader, you may find a strange obelisk throughout your world, these may have Endersent Lairs beneath them

They are similar in behaviour to normal endersent, just with boosted stats, watch out for the void pouring throughout their arena, it will cause you to take boosted damage when inside it!

When defeated, they drop the key to their lairs Diamond Chest, but also a mysterious Enchanted Eye of Ender, which are very useful for our next boss...

Attacks

Melee - The Endersent can slam its large fists onto you, dealing lots of damage

Ultimate Crush - The Endersent will raise its arm and teleport behind you, once it reappears it will create a deadly blast that deals high damage

Watchling Minions - The Endersent can spawn Watchlings to assist it in battle

(Each endersent has its own effects, too much for me to detail here, sorry!)

The Vengeful Heart of Ender

The Vengeful Heart of Ender is the ultimate challenge, the Final Boss of Alylica's Dungeons, so you better be extremely prepared with enchanted gear for this fight! The Boss spawns atop a broken citadel in The End Dimension, but when you climb to the top, it wont be there waiting...

In order to summon the Vengeful Heart of Ender you must first collect six enchanted eyes of ender from the Enchanted Endersent, you can use this to fill in the portal frames around the structures top, once you do, the fight will begin

The Heart is extremly powerful, boasting 1500 Health and being able to attack you in multiple ways, summoning endermites, breathing fire or by rushing into you, it may also sink into its portal to try and suck you in, if it does this, run as far from it as you can as if you dont it will create a large big bang, capable of dealing extreme damage even through armour.

If you can take out this boss, it will drop its puzzling key, used to unlock the Diamond Chest in the citadel

Attacks

Endermite Spread - The Vengeful Heart of Ender can shake its body, releasing glowing, explosive mines, contact with these will cause them to deal high damage and release Endermites into the arena, they will explode on their own after a while

Flame Breath - The Vengeful Heart of Ender will shoot up to 5 flames that will fly towards you and deal damage, if you attack them enough these flames can be destroyed, though.

Ender Charge - After performing its Flame Breath attack, the Vengeful Heart of Ender will try to charge into you, dealing lots of damage if it hits you

Void Portal - After taking enough damage, the Vengeful Heart of Ender retreats into the void portal for a bit of time, being immune to damage, it will only do this twice during the fight

Black Hole Aura - Whilst in the Void Portal, the Heart will pull in all nearby players, so do your best to avoid it!

The Big Bang - Periodically, while in the Void Portal, the Vengeful Heart of Ender will charge up a super powered explosion, doing extreme damage to even the most armoured players if they are too close, after doing this 3 times it returns out of the Void Portal

The Obsidian Monstrosity

The Obsidian Monstrosity is an extra powerful foe that can be found atop the Obsidian Pinnacle. Standing over 14 blocks tall this foe comes equipped with some of the strongest attacks of any boss

Defeating the Obsidian Monstrosity will net you the Obsidian Key, used to unlock the chest found in its structure

Attacks

Crushing Hands - The Obsidian Monstrosity uses one of its hands to crush the ground beneath it to deal melee damage

Projectile Barrage - The Obsidian Monstrosity fires a barrage of explosives from its mouth that deal huge damage on impact

Electric Mines - The Monstrosity roars and creates electrically charged explosives nearby, these will deal high damage when you step on them and will explode on their own after a while

Vindicator Servants - The Monstrosity can spawn in Vindicators that will assist in its fight

The Arch-Illager & Heart of Ender

Long awaited, the Arch Illager is an extra special boss with powerful attacks. This regal fellow can be found inside the Arch Castle structure that spawns in Roofed Forests. It attacks with powerful magic and can summon its minions to assist in a fight. Once defeated the Orb of Dominance will take over and transform into the Heart of Ender, introducing the boss fights Second Phase

You have to defeat both Archie and the Heart of Ender to claim the key used to unlock the castle's diamond chest

Attacks

Magical Projectiles - Archie can shoot a spell of 3 projectiles that deal damage when they make impact

Summon Minions - The Arch-Illager will summon various pillagers and vindicators to its assistance

Enchanting Beam - The Arch-Illager can enchant its minions to increase their power

Heart of Ender - I wont go into detail on the Heart of Ender's attacks here, best to leave that for a surprise

There are also 26 Ancient Bosses that spawn exclusively in the Ancient Hunts. These are super powered versions of standard mobs that will have between 2 to 6 predetermined enchantments! These guys also come with a group of enchanted minions that will fight to protect them!

If you find and defeat an ancient boss, you can expect a pretty nice reward, so they are worth seeking out!

Now, speaking of...

New to the v2.1 Update, Ancient Hunts are a major feature of the addon! Explore the depths of the nether to find or build your own Ancient Portal with 6 frames and fill atleast two of them with Runes. Once lit it will lead to one of the 26 New Ancient Dimension

The Ancient Dimensions are large dungeon crawler experiences that are full of mobs, puzzles and unique environments to explore. You will have to look around them to try and find both the Exit Portal but also the hidden Boss Doors. Each Ancient Hunt has a particular Boss to fight in it, with each boss having different items it can drop!

Inside of Ancient Hunts, regular mobs will drop Ancient Gold Ingots, a special material that can be sold to the friendly Piglin Merchant, it will, in exchange, apply a Gild to your item! These gilds can give you a whole range of powerful effects to use against your enemies!

Additionally, any loot items you find from killing Ancient Bosses will come pre-gilded, too!

There is a special item called the Book of Ancients that can give you lots of info about the new Ancient Hunts, including what runes you need to visit them, what boss is there, and what loot you will find from the boss, so i reccomend you craft that!

Avaliable from October 1st till October 31st, Welcome to the third year of Alylica's Dungeons Halloween!

Throughout October, two things should be known!

Firstly, certain mobs or bosses may spawn wearing a spooky costume! These mobs will keep their costume till the end of October, but if nametagged, the costume will stay forever!

Secondly, if you drink a Bad Omen Potion before starting a fight with the Redstone Monstrosity, you get to challenge the extra difficult Haunted Monstrosity, but defeat it and you will recieve some of the 16+ Exclusive Halloween Items!

Also, there are some brand new costumes, courtesy of the 2026 Creepy Costumes Contest!

This addon has a huge amount of items in it, and when i say huge, I mean huge, almost every armour, weapon and artefact is included!

71 Armour Sets to collect!
82 Different Melee Weapons!
70 Different Ranged Weapons!
46 Artefacts to use!

The Standard variants of these items can be crafted, these will be alot more basic, however you can get more powerful variants of weapons, ranged weapons and armour from bosses, these are known as Unique Items which have greatly buffed stats and a special effect that applies to them similar to a custom enchantment

There are many custom armour sets in the addon - each with their own special abilties that apply when all four pieces are equipped, common armours can be crafted and usually have low defense and weak/no abilitiy but each armour has 1-2 unique variants that can be obtained from a boss, having doubled defense and an extra, special ability

Four of the armour sets are shown here :

Titans Shroud, a unique armour obtained from the Redstone Monstrosity that gives you extereme defense and raises your power level
Wither Armour, a unique armour from the Nameless One that heals you when defeating mobs
The Gilded Glory, a unique armour from the Tempest Golem that can spend exp to protect you from death as if it were a totem
Teleportation Robes, a common/crafted armour that lets you teleport as if you were an enderman!

Every boss will have either one or two unique armour sets in its Diamond Chest, so good luck collecting them all!

I know I said there was alot of armour, but there are even more weapons!

Each weapon is craftable with 1-3 Unique variants, unique variants add a special built in effect as well as having buffed durability and damage

On the left you see the daggers, which while weak, are capable of performing two attacks at once

Then there is the claymore, which is powerful and deals boosted knockback

The Hammers have high damage and create a small shockwave on impact that hits other foes, but also have a slower attack speed compared to most other options

Scythes are slightly slower to attack, but deal less knockback letting you combo foes easier

Those are just four examples of weapons, and one of their uniques, every boss will have a few different weapon types in its Diamond Chest, so collecting them all may be tough!

Bows are another major feature of the addon, they work similarly to weapons with a collection of craftable bows, and stronger versions of them being obtainable from boss loot.

There are also craftable arrows that give special effects such as fire arrows, harpoon arrows that pierce water and more!

Artefacts are the last main set of items, they are special trinkets you can hold and then use to activate a special ability! You can craft common versions of artefacts, but may find rare versions in boss loot that will have improved stats. To craft an artefact you must obtain diamond dust from defeating powerful monsters of crafting it with diamonds.

Each boss chest will contain one of three artefacts for you to use, i will give details on some of them below :

Boots of Swiftness - Used to grant a temporary boost to your speed
Light Feather - Launches you forward and makes you unable to be hurt briefly, also slows nearby mobs
Corrupted Beacon - Consumes your acquired Souls to create a deadly laser that blasts in front of you!
Blast Fungus - Creates a trio of explosions around you to damage mobs
Golem Kit - Spawns a tamed iron golem who fights alongside you for a while
Enchanted Grass - Spawns a tamed magical sheep who will attack mobs with elemental powers for a while
Iron Hide Amulet - Greatly reduces the amount of damage you take for a short period
Totem of Regeneration - Places a totem that heals all nearby players for a short while

All artefacts will have their own cooldowns, so you cant just spam them!

Lastly, for the completionists, here is a list of what items are dropped by each boss!

Where to find each item!

Now, let me explain what Souls are....

Souls are a brand new mechanic in this addon, whenever you defeat a monster there is a 20% chance you will earn a soul, you can store up to 100 souls at a time (by default) and will lose some of them upon death, so be careful

Souls can be used to power certain artefacts, i already mentioned the Corrupted Beacon, but theres a few more ill list below

The Harvester - Consumes some of your souls to create a powerful explosion that devestates nearby foes
The Soul Healer - Consumes a small amount of souls to heal you
The Soulfire Lantern - Consumes some souls to summon a friendly wizard to fight monsters
The Totem of Casting - Consumes souls to create a totem which greatly reduces the cooldown of artefacts used nearby to it

Some weapons are "Soul Weapons" meaning they will earn you an extra soul if you kill a mob with them, these include Scythes, Soul Knives, Soul Bows and Soul Crossbows

There is a few more things that didnt really fit into anywhere else, so ill explain them here!

Blue and Pink prints are items used to replicate.. other items! Blue prints can be crafted with Diamond Dust and Paper, or found as boss loot, you can craft a blue print alongside a Unique Melee/Ranged Weapon to duplicate said weapon, at the cost of the Blue Print itself of course.

Pink Prints can only be obtained as loot from the Vengeful Heart of Ender, but once you have one you may use Blue Prints to duplicate more! They are used to craft extra Enchanted Eyes of Ender.

The Book of Heroes is a very helpful item, crafted with a book and 4 gold it will disclose everything you need to know about a specific weapon, bow, armour set or artefact that you have obtained!

Diamond Dust can be obtained from Boss Loot, Redstone Golems or by crafting, it is used in the crafting recipes of all Artefacts as well as Blue Prints

Every single boss has a painting and custom trophy block you may find inside of its loot chest, they serve as fun goals for you to try and collect all of them, but they are all just visual decorations! The images here are sneak peeks at the Redstone Monstrosity's decor blocks, but you will have to head in game to see the rest!

The Netherite Grindstone, this is a block that can be found alongside the piglin merchant, It can be used to "salvage" a gear item, turning it into materials and Enchatned Runes - If an item is enchanted or Unique, it will drop an increased amount of runes! These runes are useful for Ancient Hunts

This addon has a bonus addon, known as Music Box Edition - If you download this addon, you can use it alongside Alylica's Dungeons to access exciting Boss Music in each fight!

The Music Box edition includes custom music discs that can be found as boss loot, too!

Download Music Box
