Description
๐ Morphing Bracelet Reborn (MBR) v1.4.93
๐ Update Notes & Changelog
Apologies to anyone who downloaded the last version, it had several regressions from an old backup and some new issues that were overlooked, with the help of Ex2esx hopefully these should be resolved in version 1.4.93
๐ What's New & Fixed
๐จ Simpler UI Restore
- Reverted to a much simpler UI for better stability, readability, and cross-platform reliability.
- Fallback to Default Minecraft Font to avoid custom font rendering issues and improve compatibility on mobile, console, and lower-end devices.
๐งฑ Restored Original Textures
Restored the original texture files for the following assets:
textures/items/wind_charge.pngtextures/blocks/stone.pngtextures/entity/morph/blocks/stone.pngtextures/entity/morph/block_atlases/stone.png
The Wind Charge item now uses the original item texture again instead of the projectile-style streak texture.
๐ Script Error Fix
- Fixed the scripting/render error:
Error: unhandled request for unknown variable 'context.owning_entity'
- This should reduce log spam and prevent affected render paths from breaking on supported clients.
๐ฑ Mobile-Safe Transition FX Budget
Added a safer transition FX budget designed to reduce particle overload on mobile, console, Realms, and lower-performance devices.
- Added a per-player particle spawn-call budget per tick.
- Added a global particle spawn-call budget per tick.
- Reduced the safe scale of transition FX.
- Capped particle variable counts.
- Reduced maximum ring, helix, and column point counts.
Transition effects should now be lighter, safer, and less likely to cause performance spikes while still preserving the intended morphing visual style.
๐งน Stability & Compatibility
- Simplified UI presentation to reduce edge-case failures.
- Restored vanilla-style texture consistency for stone and wind charge assets.
- Improved mobile safety by limiting excessive transition particle calls.
- Improved compatibility by falling back to the default Minecraft font.

๐ Durability & Recharging
- Durability Loss: When playing in survival mode, morphing into any mob or block consumes durability.
- Depletion / Shattering: If the bracelet is allowed to deplete entirely (
durability.damage >= max), it will shatter, play a depletion sound effect (respawn_anchor.deplete), and be lost from your inventory. - Recharging: To repair your damaged bracelet, hold it in your main hand while standing on Soul Sand or Soul Soil. You will see soul particles rise up, hear a charging sound, and the bracelet will slowly recharge over time (1 durability point restored per second).
๐งช Soul Bottling System
You can capture, store, and share transformations using the Soul Glass Bottle system:
- Sucking Souls (Storing): While transformed into any mob or block, hold a Soul Glass Bottle and use/right-click it.
- The bottle sucks the morph out of you, turning into a Soul in a Bottle loaded with your morph metadata (showing the morph's name in its tooltip).
- You will immediately revert to your default player form.
- Unleashing Souls (Consuming): Hold and drink/consume a Soul in a Bottle to immediately transform into the stored mob or block form.
- Once consumed, it returns an empty Soul Glass Bottle to your inventory (triggers a brief cooldown).
- This is an excellent way to pass morphs to friends who do not yet own a Morphing Bracelet!
โ๏ธ Special Mob Abilities & Weapons
When transformed into certain mobs, you automatically receive custom, locked ability weapons/items. These items are locked to your inventory (ItemLockMode.inventory) and are kept on death (keepOnDeath: true). They are cleaned up automatically when you unmorph or reset. Durability on these items is infinitely auto-repaired to 0.

๐ฆ Enderman Block-Carrying
- When morphed as an Enderman, if you hold a supported block (e.g. Dirt, Grass, Stone, Sand, TNT, Oak Log, Glass, Cobblestone, Gravel, Obsidian, Bookshelf, Melon, Pumpkin), your model will physically carry the block in its arms.
๐งฑ Block Disguise Lock & Rotation
Transforming into blocks allows you to settle and lock yourself to the world grid:
- Jump + Crouch: Toggles block lock. When locked, you become stationary and look exactly like a real block placed in the world.
- Jump (While Locked): Rotates your settled block clockwise.
- Block Disguise Workshop: Open the bracelet's blocks tab to access manual rotation tools:
- Rotate Clockwise / Counter-Clockwise.
- Face My View Direction.
- Release Lock.
- Vanilla Interaction: Active interactable blocks (like Bells, Torches, Campfires, Lanterns, Crafting Tables, Smelters, Droppers, and Jukeboxes) can be used/interacted with by other players while you are locked.
