Void Nomad
"Can you hear me? I'm the Outpost AI, or what's left of it. I'll help you out."
Void Nomad is a quest pack for Minecraft 26.1.2 on NeoForge, with 216 mods. You wake up alone and there's nothing left of the Outpost of the Void Nomads. There's no spawn hub either. Your base becomes the new Outpost, one chapter at a time.
I built it around a few things I wanted to find in one pack:
- 483 quests in 20 chapters, written in English and Italian
- a slot machine that pays out every quest, with the odds right there on screen
- mining drones that take over your ores early on, and later reach Allthemodium, Vibranium and Unobtainium
- the Void Relic, which you find in a crypt instead of crafting, and wake up tier by tier at an altar
- crafting stations from 3x3 up to 9x9, ending with the Void Seed and the creative items it buys
- AE2 and Refined Storage, Powah, Ender IO, Cyclic, Just Dire Things and Extra Utilities Reborn, with quests that accept whichever one you use
- YUNG's structures, Terralith and Tectonic terrain, Big Lost City ruins and End Remastered
- a title screen and loading screens made from screenshots of the pack's own worlds
- Complementary Reimagined shaders, included and switched off by default

The story
The story chapters open one after the other.
- The Outpost. You settle in with a house from Prefab, waystones and your first slot machine.
- Roots. Wood, stone, iron, your first crafting station and a way to move a full chest.
- The Swarm. A control station and a launch silo send out drones that fly through rock and bring back only the ores.
- Spark. Your first real power grid, with whatever generators, cables and batteries you like.
- First Awakening. Void Ore, the Void Sonar, the crypt where the relic waits and the altar that wakes it.
- Ancient Lands. A Teleport Pad to the Mining Dimension and The Other, and the module that lets your drones mine the ancient metals.
- Ascent. Vibranium, the ritual guardians and the Void Set, forged 7x7 at the Transcendent Crafting Station.
- Beyond. Twelve different eyes open the End portal, and past the dragon you find Unobtainium and its alloys.
- Godhood. The last ritual and the Void Seed, crafted 9x9 at the Infinite Crafting Station. Seeds turn into creative items.
- The Void Arena. One eye, six waves and a Wither, for the one weapon this pack does not let you craft.

The Nomad Arts
Eight more chapters sit beside the story and open whenever you like: Storage, Storage Networks (AE2 or Refined Storage), Power, Utilities, Resources, Monsters and Mob Farms, Apotheosis and Artifacts. Bounties pays you for hunting, Commissions buys your leftovers for tokens, and there's a short guide to the slot machine.
When the pack has more than one mod for the same job, the quests take any of them. Power, for example, has a row each for Powah, Extra Utilities Reborn, Cyclic, Just Dire Things, Ender IO and the Void Relic's dynamo.
The quest book follows your game language, English or Italian.
Power has one row for each energy mod.
The slot machine
You put the Slot Machine in your base, and all 483 quests pay in spins and Slot Tokens. Pull the lever, stop the three reels and you win anything from Common to Jackpot.
- There are five prize tables, one for each stage of the pack and one for the tokens, with 80 prizes each.
- Slot Tokens have no recipe in this pack, so the machine stays a prize and never turns into a farm.
- Nothing is hidden. The PRIZES button, or the P key, lists every tier with its chance and what it can give.
- Bad luck has a limit. After 25 spins without an Epic or better, the next one is at least Epic.

Made for this pack
Six of the mods are mine, written for this pack:
- Void Relic, the relic at the heart of the story. You find it in a crypt and wake it from Dormant to Godhood at an altar, with its own ore, essence economy and Void Set.
- Swarm Miner, the mining drones, run from a station or a Swarm Tablet.
- Crafting Station Multitier, crafting stations from 3x3 to 9x9 that keep their items and show nearby and linked chests in a side panel.
- Quest Slot Machine, the slot machine and its quest rewards.
- Pricetag, which prices every item from the pack's own recipes. The Void Relic's essence economy runs on it.
- Chest Transporter, to pick up a chest with everything inside and carry it. The better ones carry villagers too.

Before you play
- Minecraft 26.1.2 with NeoForge. The CurseForge app sets up the right Java for you.
- Give the game at least 8 GB of RAM.
- Complementary Reimagined, with Euphoria Patches, is included but switched off, so the pack runs on any PC. To turn it on go to Options, Video Settings, Shader Packs (or press O), pick Complementary and apply.
- The quest book follows your game language, English or Italian.
- In multiplayer your FTB Teams party shares quest progress, and FTB Chunks protects your base.
- FTB Backups 3 backs up your world on its own.
- 26.1.2 is recent and some big mods are still alpha or beta (Ender IO, Powah, Applied Energistics 2). If something breaks, tell me in the comments and I'll look at it.
