Infinite Weight In Camp v3.0
No weight limit while you stand inside your base camp. Step outside and normal weight rules apply again.
v3.0 – Rewritten for stability
- No more micro-stutter — fully event-driven; does nothing at the menu or out in the world, only when you cross a base-camp boundary.
- The "You're weighed down…" message no longer sticks until relog.
- Fixed the crashes / EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reports.
- You can now sprint while carrying over the limit in camp.
- Stat points spent in camp are kept when you leave.
- One file for everyone — server and client use the same download.
Multiplayer-safe
Palworld's servers are the authority for weight, so the old client-side version caused rubber banding. This version works on the authority side — tested in single player, co-op, and on a real dedicated server with unmodded clients. No rubber banding.
- Single player: install and play.
- Co-op: only the HOST installs. Guests need nothing.
- Dedicated servers: only the SERVER installs. Every player benefits, modded or not. Confirmed on Windows and Proton/Wine Linux hosting panels.
- Client on someone else's server? The mod does nothing on your side — ask the server owner to install it.
How it works
Inside a base camp your max carry weight is raised to 1,000,000 (configurable) — no weight limit, no slow, and you can still sprint. On leaving, your real max is restored exactly, including stat points spent in camp. It replicates server→client natively and is fully event-driven (no performance cost).
Requirements
UE4SS (Palworld experimental build) — grab UE4SS-Palworld.zip.
Installation — Single Player / Co-op Host
- Extract the zip at your game root (
steamapps\common\Palworld) so it lands inPal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\InfiniteWeightInCamp. - Launch and check the UE4SS console for
[InfiniteWeightInCamp] loaded build 3.0.0. Only the host needs it in co-op.
No mods.txt edit needed — the zip includes an enabled.txt that auto-enables the mod (delete it to turn the mod off).
Installation — Dedicated Server
- Install UE4SS on the server the same way.
- Extract the server zip into your server's
Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\folder, so you get anInfiniteWeightInCampfolder containingScriptsandenabled.txt. - Restart and check the server console for
[InfiniteWeightInCamp] loaded build 3.0.0. Players need nothing.
Troubleshooting: if the server log says "Main script 'main.lua' not found… casing", the host's file manager mangled the extraction. Re-upload and make sure the files are named exactly main.lua and config.lua (lowercase) — Linux servers are case-sensitive.
Configuration
Edit Mods\InfiniteWeightInCamp\Scripts\config.lua: boosted max weight, refresh interval, the F6 re-apply hotkey, the overweight message text (non-English clients), and logging.
Multiplayer works because of BisectHosting — they partnered with me to test this on a real dedicated server. Use code Habibi for 25% off.
