Simple Stack Splitter

Mouse Middle Button 50% Split

A lightweight quality-of-life mod for 7 Days to Die (2.5+).

This mod allows you to quickly split item stacks using the mouse wheel button (MMB) –
without dragging, without UI clutter, and without changing vanilla behavior.

🔧 Features

• MMB on an item stack = pick up 50% of the stack
• No dragging required
• No UI changes
• No keybind conflicts
• Fully compatible with vanilla inventory behavior

Example:

• Stack size: 40
• MMB click → 20 items on cursor, 20 remain in the slot

🎮 How to Use

1. Open any inventory (player, container, crafting, etc.)
2. Hover over an item stack
3. Click the mouse wheel (MMB)
4. Half of the stack is picked up immediately

The split only happens if the cursor is empty – no accidental overwrites.

• Minimal and unobtrusive
• Uses existing vanilla mechanics
• No scroll wheel hijacking
• No custom UI windows
• Safe against item duplication or loss

This mod is meant to feel like a natural extension of the base game.

📦 Installation

1. Place the StackSplitter folder into mod folder
2. Start the game
3. finish

• Multiplayer safe (server-side install recommended)
• Does not modify items, blocks, or UI files
• Compatible with other inventory mods
