King of The Streets V2.45

Become a devious or legitimate King of The Streets.. Maybe a bit of both?

Changelog Post

Choose between staying legit and selling much needed plumbob maintenance products and collect legitimate payments or become a hardened criminal that collects tribute and learns some very powerful ways of stealing money from sims. You can also be a hybrid and do some of both, but will there be a price to pay?

Features many custom interactions, buffs and ways to make money unlocked as you build charisma, mischief, logic and fitness skill. There is also a Street Pharmacist career and two custom aspirations in the "Deviance" and "Fortune" category. You can get started by using the interaction "Lets Make Some Money" in the Friendly > Activities category or by picking the "King of The Streets" aspiration directly in CAS which will give you the reward trait needed to unlock all the interactions. Note that the trait is not gender locked so any sim aged teen or older can become the King of The Streets, but it was definitely intended to be played by an alpha male character. I also created a cheat to apply the trait if you click on your sim and go to the actions menu, but personally I prefer social interactions.

Disclaimer: There is not any drug use or actual violence apart from what is already in the game since I use animations/assets which are already present.

Requirements: City Living, Island Living, Realm of Magic, Discover University, Werewolves, Jungle Adventure, Get to Work and Laundry Day (This is just for a promo reward in the career).

Legit Ways to Make Money:

Beg for Some Money (Unlocked by default for everyone in the Friendly > Activities pie menu. It will give you up to around 120 simoleons if successful. Certain traits like snob, proper and famous sims can't beg for money and only sims with less than 5k simoleons may beg. Of course the King of The Streets can't beg for money either. You may see sims randomly use this interaction around the world.)

Try to Fart Some Simoleons (A hilarious way to earn some simoleons as you start your journey as the King of The Streets. Unlocked by default after receiving the trait. It will give you up to a few hundred simoleons)

Make a Money Call (Want some money? Just call money right? Unlocked by default and strictly a phone interaction in the "Business" section. Also gives up to a few hundred simoleons and can be done every 3 hours. It's easy to forget about this interaction as you unlock more ways to earn money, but I think it's nice for the beginning.)

Dig up Some Simoleons (You may now try to dig up some simoleons while out chatting with sims. Not a terrain interaction, because I have no idea how to do that, so you will dig near other sims. Also unlocked by default and may give the same as farting for simoleons.)

Sell a Plumbob Sponge (Sell a much requested sponge for plumbob maintenance. You first need to use the interaction "You Need a Sponge?" which is unlocked at lvl 2 charisma before the sell interaction becomes available. It will give you 200 simoleons (it's a top quality sponge).

Sell a Can of Plumbob Oil (Sell some much requested oil for plumbob maintenance that sells perfectly with the sponge. You first need to use the interaction "Make an Offer That Can't be Refused" which is unlocked at lvl 3 charisma before the sell interaction becomes available. It will give you 500 simoleons flat.)

Sell a Package Deal (If sims are interested in both products you may sell them a package deal offering a huge discount on the sponge. You will of course earn more by selling them individually, but if you can't be bothered there is the package deal. It pays 555 simoleons. You need lvl 3 charisma and lvl 2 logic.)

Collect Debt Payments (There is an actual phone interaction in the "Business" menu and also when you are out talking to sims in the "Make Some Money" category, It will give you 150 - 800 simoleons and unlocks at lvl 4 charisma. It has a 3 hour cooldown regardless if you do it on the phone or while out talking to sims.)

Persuade to Invest in The Company (As you reach lvl 5 charisma and lvl 3 logic you can persuade sims to invest in your company. It will give you between 150-800 simoleons.)

Collect Investment Returns (The king is becoming wiser so when you reach lvl 6 charisma and lvl 4 logic you will be able to collect payments every 12 hours. It will give you 150-800 simoleons. You can do it both while talking to sims or directly on the phone in the "Business" section.)

Sell Company Shares (At lvl 7 charisma and lvl 5 logic you can sell company shares every 2 days. When you run the interaction you will earn money for the next 6 hours at an interval. You will earn a good chunk of money. It's both a phone interaction in the "Business" menu and a social interaction while chatting with sims. Note that social interactions may fail because the king can be distracted.)

Devious Ways of Making Money:

Pickpocket With Finesse (Unlocks at lvl 2 mischief. The title of the interaction totally ironic as you will see with the animation I have found. Couldn't find the one I wanted to use yet. I may just keep this one for laughs and giggles. Pays up to a few hundred simoleons.)

Beat 'em And Take The Money (At lvl 4 fitness and mischief you can instigate a fight with sims and it pays up to a few hundred simoleons. Should be used while both actor and target are standing up or the animation will fail.)

Offer Your Protection and Ask For Protection Money (This ability unlocks at lvl 5 charisma, lvl 5 fitness and lvl 3 mischief. You will be able to offer your protection and collect protection money instead of tribute which is unlocked next. Note there is a 3 day cooldown on collecting protection money. The same as collecting tribute. Note that you can't rob or curse sims who are under your protection.)

Collect Tribute to The King and "Pay up Now" Introduction (This way of making money is unlocked at lvl 5 charisma, mischief and fitness skill which gives you the ability to intimidate sims out of their simoleons. It will give you 555 simoleons when successful which is the tribute amount the king has chosen as acceptable.)

Collect Blacklist Tribute (Already from the beginning you will be able to start putting sims on your blacklist, but you won't actually be able to claim it until you have reached the skill requirements to collect normal tribute. Sims on your blacklist can be forced to pay double tribute if you get a hold of them. Note that you can't do business with sims on your blacklist. You can only rob them and collect tribute.)

Deploy a Magnetic Bomb to Attract Simoleons (At lvl 5 mischief and logic you can deploy a device that will attract simoleons at an interval for 2 hours (while the buff is active). The loot is random within a certain range so you may earn a lot or not very much. Has to be used while standing up out in the open ideally. It has a 6 hour cooldown.)

Do a Telekinetic Bank Transfer (An awesome ability that unlocks at lvl 7 mischief and lvl 5 logic. It pays 1110 simoleons when sucessful. Sims will be clueless that they have transferred money to you. It will appear as a legitimate payment.)

Supernaturally Extract From Savings Account (A super cool ability that uses animations from Realm of Magic. Unlocked at lvl 8 mischief and lvl 6 logic. It will give you 1665 simoleons when successful. Sims will have no idea that the money is gone, because you leave no trace behind. Ideally you want to use this ability in an open space for the animation to work. Can only be used on sims aged young adult or older.)

Note: You may now get robbed if you have too much cash in hand (household funds). If the interaction shows up in the "Events" pie menu it may trigger autonomously while talking to sims and you will lose all your cash. You have to gift cash to other sims, donate it to charity, put it in the vault from Get Famous, do investments (Royalty and Legacy) or invest in your home/property. If the interaction doesn't appear you are safe. You can of course click the interaction yourself if you want to start over with zero simoleons like if you are coming back from rotational play.

Special Abilities:

The King of The Streets has a special ability that allows to stay awake all the time. The interaction is called "Drink a RedBull Like a Boss" and will fill the energy bar if successful. It's unlocked by default. There is also the "King's Cologne" which unlocks at lvl 8 charisma which will take care of the hygiene need. At lvl 5 mischief you can also give sims the "Curse of The King" if you for whatever reason want to make them very sad for 24 hours. It's more of a flavor interaction that let's you know a bit more what might be going on with the king if you read the buff. Another special ability will unlock at lvl 3 mischief where you are able to rob satisfaction points from sims. It will give you 100 by default, but can be increased with certain reward traits. At lvl 4 charisma and mischief you unlock the ability to mark your territory like a werewolf and take care of the bladder need. Note that it works like a social interaction so you will take a piss near other sims. I find it pretty hilarious, but if you think it's too much just don't use the interaction and go to the toilet normally.

Events:

There is also an "Events" pie menu currently with four different outcomes depending on which path you take. I won't spoil anything, because you have to make the decisions yourself. I can however say that most of the outcomes will unlock as you build mischief skill.

I will let you discover the rest of the interactions. I have marked some interactions with (SU) behind the interaction name which should ideally be used while standing up and not near any seating. The animations will fail if sims are seated. You will still get the loot (money, reputation gain/loss and relationship gain/loss), but the animation will simply not be triggered. So try to play ideally. There is also a cooldown on some of the ways to make money so you can't spam the interactions. They may fail anyway if you do this so there is a cooldown if the interaction is not appearing in the pie menu.

Recommended mods to use with this: Utopya's Brawling Mod, NeedCoffee4that's Greeting Mod and KingBlackCinema's Xtreme Socials Mod which are all freely available.

I hope you enjoy the mod. It has been a great amount of work to put this together! We'll see if I get more ideas to expand in the future.

How to install:

Download the zip file, extract the contents and put it directly in your mods folder. Script files can't be more than one folder deep.

Happy hustling!
