JustAC - play any spec like you've mained it for years.
Blizzard's Assisted Combat tells you what to press. JustAC turns that into something you can actually play from: a clean queue of your next abilities, with your keybinds, right where you're already looking. Nothing to memorize, no import strings to untangle.
Working on Midnight, and kept that way. Midnight changed what an addon is allowed to see mid-fight, and a lot of rotation helpers quietly broke or stopped being updated. JustAC was rebuilt around the new rules rather than patched over them, and it's current on 12.1.0.
- Perform instantly on anything. A fresh alt, a rusty main, a spec you've never touched. The next button is right there, and so are the three after it.
- Keep your eyes on the fight. Rotation, defensives, interrupts, CC and burst windows all show up in one place, in your line of sight, labeled with the keys you press.
- Stay alive. Your defensives are ordered by how much trouble you're in, and the panic buttons - immunities, big heals, potions - wait at the back while you're healthy.
Whatever you play
Same addon, same queue, nothing to set up. It shows what your spec needs:
Damage - Follow-ups ordered by community theorycraft for your spec, then re-ranked for the pull in front of you. DoTs come back when it's time to refresh, and your burst cooldown glows purple when a burst window is actually called for.
Tanks - A dedicated slot for the mitigation buff your spec keeps rolling: Ignore Pain, Shield of the Righteous, Ironfur, Demon Spikes, Bone Shield. A ring warns you before it drops and the slot flares if it lapses. Pick how early it warns, add an alert sound, and have Demon Spikes glow while every charge is ready. (Brewmaster isn't covered yet.)
Healers - Keep your healing addon. JustAC isn't one, and what it adds is the other half of your job: a damage priority with heals kept out, and an optional caster mode without melee suggestions, so the time between heals still does damage. Group heal suggestions ride alongside as a nudge when the group is in trouble. Who to heal stays your call.
Everyone else in the group - A Help Your Group list for party-wide buttons like Rallying Cry, Darkness or Vampiric Embrace, offered when your group could use them, so you can take pressure off your healer without being one.
Pet classes - Summon and revive reminders for every pet class, and Hunters get a pet heal reminder in combat.
Everyone - Interrupts, CC and enrage cleanses, the pre-combat checklist, and an escape button when a stun, fear or root has you.
More than the bare glow
Blizzard shows one dim suggestion on your action bar. Simpler addons echo it with a hotkey. JustAC adds the judgment a good player brings:
- It re-ranks your follow-ups to the pull. An AOE pack lifts your AOE tools, a single target keeps them out of the way.
- It won't waste a suggestion. Melee abilities step back out of range, Cat abilities while you're a Bear, stealth openers while unstealthed. Buffs you already have drop out.
- It learns what your CC won't work on. Bosses and immune targets are ruled out from the start, and the moment a mob type shrugs off your crowd control, it stops being offered.
- It's an assist, not a bot. Everything rides Blizzard's own recommendation. Nothing to script, nothing to get banned for.
Make it yours
Priority - See the game's order, the theorycraft order and your own side by side, one line per ability with what it waits for. Looking never changes anything; Use This Order does. Build your own list by exporting or merging one of the others, drag to reorder, and undo if you change your mind. You also decide who leads: the game (default), the queue filling gaps when the game has nothing to recommend, or your own list.
Your lists, same look everywhere - Defensives, Help Your Group, pet lists, gap-closers and burst triggers all use the same compact rows as the priority list.
Overrides - Everything set on one spell or item in one place: hide it, pin it, hold it until it's fully charged, give it a custom hotkey label. You can even take it off your action bars, which is the one thing that makes the game's own assist stop suggesting it too - with Put Back to restore it to the same buttons.
Show in - Keep the queue in dungeons and hide it in raids, or any mix of open world, delves, dungeons, raids and PvP. Separately for the main queue and the nameplate queue.
What's in the box
Disruption - One slot ahead of your queue for everything that stops what the enemy is doing: interrupts, crowd control that knows a stun from a silence, and enrage cleanses (Soothe, Tranquilizing Shot, Shiv and similar glow green). Each part works on its own.
Pre-combat buffs - Out of combat, the buffs you're missing but own appear as clickable icons: flask, food, augment rune, weapon enchants, class buffs like poisons and shields, plus the Recuperate self-heal. Group buffs watch your party, so one re-cast covers whoever joined late.
Display & input - Standard frame, nameplate queue, or both, each with an optional resource bar. Markers show when an ability can be cast on the move or is off the global cooldown. Full layout control. Hotkeys found from your bars and macros, with manual overrides. Keyboard and gamepad. Masque support. Per-spec profiles. Localized: EN, DE, FR, IT, RU, ES (ES/MX), PT-BR, KO, ZH (CN/TW).
One limitation: the interrupt is correctly hidden on casts that can't be interrupted, whatever your UI. Substituting crowd control for a kick on a non-interruptible cast still needs Blizzard's default cast bar. Replace the cast bar and you get no suggestion there instead of a CC - never a wrongly-shown kick.
