What is Routine?

Routine is a lightweight, auto-tracking weekly checklist for World of Warcraft: Midnight. It watches your quest log, profession activity, currency totals, and weekly progress in real time so you always know exactly what you have done this week - and what is still left to do.

Profession Knowledge Point System

Routine includes a full profession Knowledge Point tracker built to keep your weekly KP routine clear, compact, and profession-aware. It only shows the professions your character actually has, so there is no clutter from professions you are not using.

• Weekly Knowledge - tracks profession quests, notebooks, journals, folios, treatises, and weekly drops where supported
• One-Time Knowledge - tracks treasures, discoveries, studies, hidden masters, and Knowledge Point books
• Catch-Up Knowledge - shows bonus/catch-up KP separately so it does not get mixed into your normal weekly cap
• Profession filtering - only your current character's professions are shown
• Alt-aware tracking - saved per character so you can check profession progress across your warband
• All 11 professions supported - Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Herbalism, Inscription, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, and Tailoring

Prey System

The Prey System is Midnight's open-world hunting activity where you track down and defeat powerful targets each week. Routine tracks both your progress toward the weekly cache and your total Remnants of Anguish currency.

• Weekly Prey (4/4) - automatically tracked via quest completion as you defeat Prey targets across the world. Completing 4 earns the weekly cache reward
• Remnants of Anguish - your current currency total, updated live whenever you earn more

Midnight Rares

Midnight is home to powerful rare elites that spawn across the open world, each dropping valuable loot, currencies, and collectibles. Midnight Routine tracks your kills automatically so you never lose track of which rares you have already tagged this week.

• Weekly rare kills - automatically detected when you defeat a tracked Midnight rare
• Per-rare status - see which rares are done and which are still available for the week
• Auto-reset - rare tracking clears on weekly reset alongside everything else

Great Vault

• Raid slot - tracks your weekly raid clears toward the vault
• Mythic+ slot - tracks your weekly M+ runs
• World slot - tracks your weekly Delve and world activity completions
• Auto-updates as you earn rewards, with no manual input needed

Crests & Delves

• Crest tracking - live currency totals for all Dawncrest tiers, updated automatically as you earn them
• Delve runs - weekly Delve completions and Tier 8 status tracked automatically
• Coffer Key Shards - current shard count tracked live up to the weekly cap

Story Campaign & Weekly Tasks

• Story Campaign - chapter-by-chapter progress tracked automatically so you never forget where you left off
• Weekly Tasks - core repeatable weekly activities tracked alongside everything else

Custom Tasks

Not everything fits neatly into a category, so you can build your own. The custom task module lets you add any personal reminder or goal directly into the panel alongside your auto-tracked activities.

• Add your own tasks - type anything you want to remember each week
• Manual check-off - tap a task to mark it done
• Persistent across sessions - custom tasks stay saved until you remove them
• Weekly auto-reset - checkmarks clear on reset so your list is ready for the next week

Alt Tracking

Running multiple characters? Midnight Routine keeps a full weekly snapshot for every alt on your account so you never have to log in just to remember what you have already done.

• Per-character snapshots - saves Great Vault, Crests, Delves, Prey, Rares, KP, and more
• Account-wide overview - see every tracked character's weekly status at a glance
• Automatic population - characters are added the first time you log in with the addon loaded
• Reset-aware - alt data clears alongside your main on weekly reset
• Profession-aware - each alt only shows KP modules for the professions that character actually has

How It Works

• Auto-tracking - quest completions, KP spell casts, currency changes, vault events, Prey kills, and Midnight rare kills are detected automatically as you play
• Auto-reset - weekly content wipes clean on reset, no manual clearing needed
• Profession filtering - profession modules only appear if your character has that profession
• Draggable panel - move it anywhere on your screen and lock it in place
• Module reordering - drag modules into whatever order suits your workflow
• Collapse completed - finished rows shrink down so only what is left stands out
• Per-module collapse control - override the global collapse setting per module from the config panel
• Transparent mode - clean frameless look if you want it to blend into your UI
• Minimap button - left-click to open, right-click for options
